We went south a few weeks ago and spent some time with our families. Aaron took a week off of work and with this long weekends we were able to go home for 11 days. We had a great time visiting with family and friends. One of our little day trips was to Bryce Canyon. It was a beautiful day and apparently very bright out since all of the pictures are squinty.

We all took a short hike together. I think that the kids really enjoyed being outside and running free.

Lydia was on the move and would not hold hands with anyone. She was way to busy exploring and seeing how fast her short little legs would go.

Jake said that Bryce Canyon and hiking were boring.

Of course Katie's baby made the trip as well.

While visiting Grandma Wells Lydia found her favorite spot. Grandma has a really pretty new sectional and all of the grandkids love to hide in the little hole between sections. Crazy kids.

While Aaron and the two big kids went swimming at the pool in St. George Lydia, Grandma and I went to the wading pool/fountains downtown. Lydia was not really into the wading which really surprised us. She just sat around and watched the other kids. She had not been feeling well. She just finished an 8 day virus of hand foot and mouth disease. I think we picked it up from the nursery. YEA!

We had a wonderful time on our trip. We drove to St. George so much this summer we have vowed not to go again until Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's everyone' turn to visit us now. See you all soon.
