This week was a busy one for us. We spent the beginning of the week preparing for Maggie's big day. It started out mysteriously...Dad was home from work, all of the big kids were dropped off at school and Maggie was on her way somewhere for a date with Mom and Dad.

It was kind of a funny place for a date. They made her wear funny Jams that tied in the back

She took them off about 40 times while we waited.

Checking out all of the equipment.

Checking out her funny clothes.

Another mysterious thing, there were toys everywhere! Maggie was having the time of her life. She went from one toy to the next, running at full speed and laughing hysterically.

The next part, not so funny. Maggie went to sleep and when she woke up found that someone had been digging around in her ears. TUBES for the baby.

She had the hardest time waking up.

She spent the rest of the afternoon sleeping off the funky meds they gave her. By 5:00 she was up and raring to go. Surgery, no big deal to Maggie. She is one tough cookie.
Check out this funny video of the party girl. In the surgery waiting room hall they had about six of these cars. Maggie would run from one to the other trying them all out. What a funny girl. She had the best and worst day of her life.

The best part of the video for me was that you and I both could not resist laughing at Maggie's slide as she entered the second car.
