Friday was an eventful day. We ventured out in the snow to the Barnes and Noble story time. It was fun. They read stories for about 30 minutes and then had a craft and a treat. The theme of the stories was snow and snowflakes so the craft was decorating a plastic snowflake with glitter glue and a cotton ball. Very sophisticated. The treat was an iced oatmeal cookie. Katie really enjoyed herself, mostly because her friend Kenzie was there also. Lydie was pretty naughty but enjoyed the cookie. I forgot to take the camera so there are no pictures. One of the girls from my ward who attended the story time was telling tales of clearance winter shoes at Target for children. The word was $3.24/pair. My neighbor and I went to Target later that afternoon and hit the jackpot. This is a photo of the girls with all of their loot. The prize pair of shoes was for Lydie, a shiny pink pair of cowboy boots. They are atleast three sizes too big. Katie is green with envy.
