We have had quite a week this last week. Jake, Katie and Lydia were all sick with fevers and nasty coughs just in time for us to bring baby Maggie home. They did very well for the most part staying away from her. Everyone is feeling better this weekend so the serious harassment has begun. Poor Maggie. Someone is always petting/touching/hugging her. It is a miracle that she isn't sick. My mom was here all week protecting us from germs. She put a big Keep Out/ Quarantine sign on my bedroom door to keep us safe. Unfortunately Lydia can't read.
Maggie, ready to come home from the hospital.
Meeting big brother Jake for the first time.
Katie was so excited for us to come home.
Lydia is very aggressive with her loves. I hope Maggie survives. She has already made it through two near death experiences involving Lydia. She managed to get her out of the bassinet twice and carry her through the house. There are now locks on the two bedroom doors upstairs and Lydia is not happy about that.
Maggie came home on Halloween and the excitement never ended that day. The kids were excited to get into their costumes and go out on the town.Cinderella Katie ready for some treats.
Lydia chose her elephant costume again over the pirate princess.
Jakey Potter.
The gang. (a little bit blurry, sorry.)
This was Maggie's costume. She spent the weekend on the billy bed. Lots of fun. She never complained. I am sure that anyone of the other kids would have screamed all weekend but she never made a peep. What a nice girl.
Maggie and Jake. He thinks they are twins. Maggie is still looking a little bit yellow in this shot.
I love this picture. It is after her bath. Her hair looks like it might have a little bit of curl. I know it's just baby hair but I can hope right?
Katie is quite taken with her new baby sister and always willing to hold her. I told her she could have as many turns as she wants when her cough is gone.
This is a picture of Maggie today. She is 11 days old. It is very rare for her to have her eyes open. She wouldn't look at the camera but it is proof that she does wake up on occasion. Bubby is gone home now and Aaron is in charge of us. He has this week off work and is looking forward to relaxing. Little does he know, being on duty at home is not very relaxing. Good luck to Aaron. I have a feeling he will be more than ready to go back to work next week.

They all look so thrilled to finally have their new playtoy! She's going to be a tough one, obviously.
Miss Maggie is so beautiful! What a perfect head, and perfect features. Can't wait to meet her (after cold and flu season, of course).
