Jake had to plan a family outing for a cub scout requirement. He made a list of all of the items we would need to go to the park for the afternoon. He made a menu, picked up a few items from the store and loaded the trunk with any recreational equipment we might need.

Katie never goes anywhere without her baby and all of it's gear. Even on the slide she will be prepared should her baby need anything.
Lydia just came prepared to play hard.
Jake decided to pack lots of mitts, a bat, and a baseball. Everyone had fun with the bat.

Jake hit almost every pitch that Aaron sent his way. Poor little lefty is coming right along.

I love this picture of Lydia. She has this look on her face like, "Ewe, what do I do with this old thing?"
She figured it out real quick and was fielding balls in no time.

Of course she felt that she was entitled to a little batting practice as well. Jake did not agree.
Katie spent most of the day tending to her baby's needs. She made sure to spread out her blanket and display all of her items. What a great mommy she will be some day.
