Bye, Bye, Duckies.

This week has been a winter flashback. We had lots of cold weather, snow and rain. Luckily the ground is warm enough that the snow doesn't stick. Last night was warmer than any other this week so we decided to indulge Lydia and go feed the ducks. She asks every nigth at dinner. "Duckies? Bread?" It was a little bit chilly so the girls tried out their new winter hats.
Katie was working her new pink striped hat. She chose it herself. It was in the .25 cent bin at The Children's Place. You have to love a deal like that.
Jake has adopted this rather unfortunately looking white duck. The other ducks have pecked most of his feathers off of his neck and back wings and I am quite sure that he is blind in one eye. Jake loves him and can't get enough of him. He has affectionately named him Undertoad. (Don't ask, I have no idea why)
This is a close up of Undertaod's featherless neck.
