The day finally arrived and our baby turned 2. She had a very busy day full of fun and lots of activity. This picture was taken in the kitchen. In the background you can see Lydia's potty chair. For months she has talked all day about going potty and when given the opportunity does absolutley nothing. I finally told her she was too little and would have to wait until she could deliver. Enough potty talk...On with the big day.
We ventured out to Wal-Mart to pick up supplies for the big birthday party later in the week. Lydia enjoyed the rare opportunity to be out of the cart. She rode on the outside just like her big sister Katie does. I think that she was quite enjoying herself.

Our next stop was a quick trip to Costco. We needed evey more food for the upcoming party and what better place to find it. We enjoyed a quick lunch at Costco and then made a run to the Scout Store. Lydia had to wait in the car with Dad and Katie. We ran home for a nap while Jake and Mom went to Scouts.
After Scouts we decided on the Olive Garden for dinner. Lydia enjoyed her Mac and Cheese and rootbeer very much. Most of it actually made it into her mouth.
Dad and Jake also enjoyed their dinner and thanked Lydia for having a birthday.
In case you thought we had sold her to the gypsies, here is our Kate playing with all of Lydia's new toys. Hopefully Lydia gets a turn to play with them too. I am including a few movies of Lydia playing with her new ball popper. It was too fun and all of the kids like playing with it. For details the big birthday party (Kaite and Lydia's) you will have to check out buboppy.blogspot.com. I didn't take any pictures. I was too busy . It was a fun party and thanks to everyone who came. We hope that you enjoyed.
