It was FUN FRIDAY today and oh what fun we had. We started out the day with a trip to the This Is The Place Park. It was free family day hosted by the Days of 47 Rodeo. I check online to see what time they opened...9:00! I checked at 8:00 a.m. and none of the kids were awake. I got them all up by 8:20 and asked them if they would like to go and they were up for it. We got ready and ate breakfast REALLY fast and were off to the park by 8:45. I really wanted to beat the crowds.
We began our fun with horseback riding. It is all part of the experience.
The kids loved their quick turn on the horses.
After the horseback riding we saw a few of the neat cabins and watched this cute pioneer lady make a pot.
One of the highlights was the cute baby animals. You get right into the pens with them.
The girls loved the baby lambs.
The baby goats were cute too.
Jake the gentle giant.
Lydia was dying to pet this goat with little horns.. He was a feisty one and was growling at her. We opted not to pet.
The girls favorite part of the park was the cute little play town. It had all of these miniature buildings.
The girls both loved this darling little house.

The fire station had little tables and chairs and play food in it.
They had a fun wooden train too.
We probably didn't do 1/4 of the things that were there. We only had an hour and half because we had a date with some friends to see...
Toy Story 3! We don't usually pay the big bucks to see the kids movies but the kids did a bake sale yesterday with some friends and decided they wanted to spend their earnings on a movie. It was fun.
In the afternoon we had a play date with some of our favorite friends. Hunting for potato bugs was never so much fun. For dinner we had pancakes with fresh berry sauce. The kids are now watching a movie/sleeping on the hide a bed. Fun Friday was never so much fun. Hope Saturday can live up to the expectations.
