Lydia thought that she was the queen of the skating rink. She had a hard time waiting her turn to skate with Dad. She is excited to go back.
Katie had really good balance walking on her skates. She mostly followed the railing around the skating rink and held on to the bar.
I think that most of all Katie enjoyed being outside. She love to be outside and seems to especially love the snow. Every time we leave the house she is out tromping through the snow instead of getting into the car.
Dan and Andrew didn't have quite as much fun as we did. Dan was having trouble skating on his own without the help of Andrew. He couldn't skate and keep Andrew up at the same time. Andrew would have like to stay longer, as you can see from his protest to leaving. They only lasted about 10 minutes
By the end of our skating experience Jake was doing really well. He spent more time on his feet than not. He was really enjoying himself. We will definately go again soon.
After skating we raced home to change into Sunday clothes. We met some friends for a quick dinner and then went to the Draper Temple tour. It was really, really long. It took about 3 hours and we cut out 1/3 of the way through the our. It was like hurding 1000 sheep at a snails pace through the Temple. Lydia did not enjoy herself. She does look very distinguished stading at the pulpit in the chapel at the Temple. (Naughty, naughty!)

I was a very full day. We left the temple tour around
8:00 and then ran to the church to set up for primary and lock up the church building. We finished off the day with a Super Bowl celebration. I didn't watch but we did have some traditional food for dinner. We made super nachos and some sweet and spicy chicken wings (minus the wings) we used chicken breast. It was pretty good. Here are a few pictures.

The ice skating looked so much fun...and the food looked good being fast sunday and all :)
It's a good thing that Jakie got that coat from Grandma Marsha for Christmas. I know he doesn't like to get clothes, but I haven't seen him out of it since he got it.
Sorry things didn't work out yesterday. It was a long day waiting for my two minutes of commentary. We finally made our presentation at 5:20 PM. We were the last ones!
I left CDC at 5:40 AM was touched down at 8:30 PM. A long day for a two minute sound bite.
